A Mississippi mother taught a group of would-be armed robbers a lesson about the Second Amendment Thursday when she gunned down at least one suspect while they attempted to rob her husband and son.
The incident occurred around 2:30 a.m. while the father and son were outside their Jackson home, according to a report.

At least three men approached the pair and demanded they turn over the keys to their vehicle and their wallets, Jackson Police Department Public Information Officer Sam Brown said.
"The victim's wife exited the home and fired multiple shots, striking one of the suspects," Brown said.
The suspect, identified as a 17-year-old male, was shot once and died at the scene, authorities said.
