The vicious and brutal attack launched by the Islamic terrorist group Hamas against Israel has been condemned by many countries worldwide.
Hamas reportedly targeted innocent women, children, and other civilians in their latest violent quest against Israel. Videos of Hamas killing audience members of a music festival and reports of extreme violence against infants have warranted comparisons to barbarians.
BIDEN SHIFTS FOCUS AWAY FROM DOMESTIC AFFAIRS AS ISRAEL WAR INTENSIFIES
Many in the country have been horrified by the tactics of Hamas and the developments of the latest battle between Israel and Palestine. The carnage caused by the war has resulted in widespread condemnation from supporters on both sides. Yet, recent public opinion polls have shown that most voters in the country blamed Palestinians. For example, a recent survey by Rasmussen found that, of those who “have very closely followed news about the Hamas attack,” 64% of people believed that “Palestinians are mostly to blame for the conflict with Israel.”
Of particular interest was the breakdown by political ideology of those who felt Palestinians were to blame. Results from the Rasmussen poll revealed that while only “40% of Democrats” blamed Palestinians for war with Israel, 66% of GOP voters blamed them for the discord in the region. This was arguably shocking, given that 70% of Jewish adults “identify with or lean toward the Democratic Party,” according to the Pew Research Center. Moreover, it’s even stranger given that “twice as many Democrats (14%) as Republicans (7%)” blamed Israel for the war, Rasmussen reported.

Perhaps most interestingly was the response from those who considered themselves neither Republican nor Democrat. Among these unaffiliated voters, 54% believed Palestinians were mostly to blame for the crisis, while only 9% felt Israel was to blame. It was a stark contrast in opinions and indicative of how most people blame Palestinians for what happened. And given the available evidence of everything, having such an opinion is understandable.
Whatever support Palestinians might have been hoping to get in their perennial unrest with Israel went down the drain when videos emerged of Hamas kidnapping children and using other brutal tactics in their preemptive assault.
