Bridger Aerospace CEO and former Navy SEAL Tim Sheehy continues to gain endorsements from Republicans in Congress and the Senate in his bid to unseat Sen. Jon Tester (D-MT).
Sen. Marco Rubio (R-FL) endorsed the Montana Republican on Tuesday, saying, "Tim Sheehy is exactly the type of person we need in the Senate."

In a statement to Fox News, Rubio added, "As a Navy SEAL and successful businessman, he understands the need for strong American leadership and knows how important it is to fight for hardworking families."
"I am glad that he’s put himself forward to serve his state, and I am proud to endorse his campaign for U.S. Senate," Rubio continued.
After announcing his campaign late last month, Sheehy has also received endorsements from National Republican Senatorial Committee Chairman Steve Daines (R-MT), Gov. Greg Gianforte (R-MT), Rep. Ryan Zinke (R-MT), Sen. Tom Cotton (R-AR), Sen. Cindy Hyde-Smith (R-MS), Sen. Ted Budd (R-NC), Sen. Markwayne Mullin (R-OK), Sen. Bill Hagerty (R-TN), Sen. Marsha Blackburn (R-TN), and Sen. John Barrasso (R-WY).

The Cook Political Report has rated the Montana Senate seat as "lean Democratic" heading into 2024.
In the second quarter of fundraising in 2023, Tester hauled in a record amount, topping his previous best for a nonelection year. The Montana Democrat raised $5 million and had $10 million in his campaign account, per his campaign.
