White Sox pitcher Michael Kopech and Guardians player Gabriel Arias were also fined an undisclosed amount.
The Saturday night brawl began when Ramirez dove between Anderson's legs to get on second base. The interaction gradually evolved into a confrontation between the two. Anderson then challenged Ramirez to a fight by dropping his glove and raising his hands into a fighting stance. While others ran over to attempt to break up the fight, Ramirez landed a punch on Anderson's face, knocking him to the ground.

Ramirez, speaking through his interpreter, later explained that tensions had been boiling over between the two for some time, as he believed Anderson had been "disrespecting the game."
“He has been disrespecting the game for a while,” he said. “It’s not from yesterday. It’s from before. I even had the chance to tell him during the game, ‘Don’t do this stuff. That’s disrespectful. Don’t start tagging people like that’ because in reality, we’re here trying to find ways to provide for our families.”
