President Donald Trump and other lawmakers condemned the shooting as a “targeted attack” against places of worship. In late August, a transgender shooter opened fire on a Catholic church in Minneapolis, Minnesota.
Attorney General Pam Bondi confirmed she has received briefings on the shooting, and FBI Director Kash Patel said the agency is tracking reports on it. Both Bondi and Patel condemned the shooting.
