The Michigan Attorney General's Office has charged 16 people for signing certificates claiming that former President Donald Trump won the presidential election in 2020.
The individuals have been charged with several felony counts, including forgery, conspiracy to commit forgery, and election law forgery. Some of the charges carry jail sentences of 14 years and/or a $10,000 fine.
