


A rare photograph of Michael Jordan taken during his rookie year with the Chicago Bulls sold for $141,954 at auction, along with other Jordan memorabilia.
The PSA Type 1 photograph was bought by a collector at the 2023 Lelands Classic Summer Auction, which closed on Aug. 5, according to a report.

Taken during Jordan's first game against the Washington Bullets, the image shows the future six-time NBA Champion dribbling up the court with his tongue out.
Jordan put up 16 points, seven assists, four blocks, and six rebounds during his 40-minute debut at Chicago Stadium.
It was originally captured for the Chicago Sun-Times, the report noted.

The picture was sold alongside two yearbooks from Jordan's Laney High School in North Carolina.
His junior year yearbook sold for $637, and a signed edition of his senior yearbook sold for $4,555.
