NextImg:Melania Trump unveils Vanity Fair staffer vanity

We’re about to find out if Vanity Fair magazine’s leadership is capable of dealing with angry employees. Or, alternatively, whether they will succumb to employee tantrums.

According to reports, the first global editorial director for Vanity Fair, Mark Guiducci, wants to do things differently. One idea he proposed was to feature Melania Trump, the former supermodel turned wife of President Donald Trump, on the cover of his publication. One editor told the Daily Mail that if Melania is featured, “I will walk out the motherf***ing door, and half my staff will follow me.”

Perhaps Guiducci wants to shake things up by diversifying his editorial and writing team to offer better coverage of fashion and culture?

After all, Melania Trump has long been jilted by the fashion world. Once her husband descended those golden escalators in 2015 and declared his ambition to become president, Melania became a fashion pariah. Despite Melania’s impeccable taste in picking clothes for the occasion and looking fabulous in them, that status was bestowed upon her.

In contrast, former first lady Michelle Obama was ubiquitous on the covers of magazines such as Vogue (three times), Vanity Fair, Time, and Variety. So why not have a Republican president’s wife highlight what it’s like to throw lavish state dinners, or even smaller dinner parties at Mar-a-Lago (where Trump acts as DJ)? Why not a chat about how Melania got that custom hat idea to match her bespoke suit for the 2021 inauguration!?

THE LEGAL CASES AGAINST TRUMP THAT REMAIN IN LIMBO

The bottom line is that publishing has suffered long enough in deference to the radical leftists ranting behind the scenes. They can get on board with a new, potentially better way of doing business or try to walk out that “motherf***ing door!”
