Rosalynn Carter's tribute service will have several high-profile guests in attendance.
A pair who were questionable for the Atlanta portion of Carter's services appear to have been confirmed: former first lady Melania Trump and 39th President Jimmy Carter.
'DISAPPOINTED' BIDEN APOLOGIZED AFTER SHOWING SKEPTICISM ABOUT HAMAS DEATH TOLL CLAIMS
Melania Trump was questionable as she has been reported to be a reluctant first lady who refused to give her successor, Jill Biden, a tour of the White House before moving out. But the Carter Center has confirmed that Melania Trump will be in attendance Tuesday at Glenn Memorial United Methodist Church on the campus of Emory University.
The Trump campaign did not return a request for comment from the Washington Examiner.
Another question was the status of 99-year-old Jimmy Carter, who has been in hospice care since February in his hometown of Plains, Georgia, a more than two-hour drive from Atlanta. But the Carter Center confirmed to the Washington Examiner that Jimmy Carter is expected to be in attendance as well.
Jimmy Carter and Rosalynn Carter were married for 77 years before she died last week, and they hold the record for longest-married presidential couple.
Other high-profile guests include President Joe Biden and current first lady Jill Biden, along with Bill Clinton and Hillary Clinton, Vice President Kamala Harris and second gentleman Doug Emhoff, former first ladies Laura Bush and Michelle Obama, Gov. Brian Kemp (R-GA) and Georgia first lady Marty Kemp, Atlanta Mayor Andre Dickens, and several other members of Congress and elected officials.
