


Meghan, the Duchess of Sussex, is set to be honored with the Ms. Foundation's Women of Vision Award next month.
The former actress-turned-ostracized British royal will receive the reward from the country's oldest women's foundation on May 16 at New York City's Ziegfeld Ballroom, according to a report.

Meghan will be honored alongside Black Voters Matter co-founder LaTosha Brown and others at the Ms. Foundation's 50th anniversary celebration, and all money raised that night will be put toward equity-centered initiatives, the report noted.

"Meghan, LaTosha, Wanda, Kimberly, Olivia, and Rebekah are incredible leaders," Ms. Foundation President and CEO Teresa Younger said in a statement.

The duchess is being recognized for "her global advocacy to empower and advocate on behalf of women and girls," and Gloria Steinem will present her with the award, according to the report.
