Republican talk show host Mark Levin is aiming to return to the air Tuesday night, shortly after a quadricep injury kept him off his show Monday.

The host of The Mark Levin Show revealed Monday morning that he experienced “a very bad fall” that tore his quadricep between his right knee and thigh, and he expected to be in surgery for up to a couple of days. Levin added that he aimed to return to the airwaves “as soon as I can.”

Levin’s producer, Richard Sementa, better known as “Mr. Producer,” provided an update Tuesday afternoon.

“Mark’s going to try and come on radio tonight because it’s an important night – debate night!” Sementa wrote on X, which Levin reposted. “He’s very grateful to all of you.”

The Mark Levin Show was guest-hosted by WREC radio host Ben Ferguson for Monday’s episode, who began the episode explaining Levin’s absence. Ferguson said this injury is “brutally painful” and asked listeners to “say a prayer” for Levin.

Attorney Harmeet Dhillon wished Levin a “swift” recovery on X, while Republican Arizona Senate candidate Kari Lake wrote that she was keeping the host “in our prayers.”

The presidential debate on ABC News is set to air at 9 p.m. ET. Vice President Kamala Harris and former President Donald Trump will face off as they lay out their plans for the country’s future.
