Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA) on Sunday took aim at the eight GOP lawmakers who tanked her second impeachment effort against Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas.

Greene, who has vowed to continue trying to impeach Mayorkas, said during an appearance on Fox News’s Sunday Morning Futures that the move by the eight dissenters to block her resolution was “outrageous.”

"We are wondering how many … dead American bodies are going to have to pile up before Republicans in Congress get serious about impeaching Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas," Greene said. "Americans called and called; they flooded those congressmen's offices with phone calls demanding the impeachment of Mayorkas."

"My articles of impeachment against Mayorkas have been sitting in committee on a shelf collecting dust. Four of the eight Republicans that voted with Democrats serve on the Judiciary Committee, and that shows that they aren't really for impeachment like they say they are,” she added. “They were claiming they wanted the committee process, but they're not bringing the committee process when the articles of impeachment are sitting there not moving through committee.”

Greene first introduced tried to impeach Mayorkas in May, but Republicans were not fully on board and sent the measure to the House Judiciary Committee for consideration. The committee has not advanced her measure in the months since.

The House on Monday evening sent her second impeachment attempt to the House Homeland Security Committee, which has buried itself in a six-part investigation into Mayorkas that began earlier this summer and is only two-thirds of the way through as of mid-November.
