Political commentator and former Obama administration spokeswoman Marie Harf got into a heated argument during an interview on Fox News after accusing former President Donald Trump of antisemitism.

Harf’s claim stems from a comment Trump made in a visit to Georgia on Wednesday when he reiterated his statement that any Jewish person who votes for Democrats or President Joe Biden “should have their head examined.” Fox News’s Harris Faulkner noted how Trump made this comment in regard to a claim he made that Biden had abandoned Israel, leading to Harf contending that Biden has been in support of Israel.

“And Donald Trump has repeatedly questioned the loyalty of Jewish Americans,” Harf said on The Faulkner Focus. “He has said antisemitic and offensive things about how Jewish Americans should vote, over and over, he just did it five minutes ago!”

Faulkner then read the direct quote from Trump before ending the interview shortly after Harf’s accusation, stressing the importance of getting “our facts right.”

Earlier in the interview, Harf claimed that Trump has “a hard ceiling” of support around 46%-47%, and that this ceiling stems from his polarizing comments. Besides his comments on Jewish voters, Harf noted how Trump has taken credit for overturning Roe v. Wade.

Trump came under fire last month after claiming that Jewish people who vote for Democrats “hate their religion.” He also accused Democrats of hating Israel.

The former president has since reiterated his criticism of Jews voting for Democrats, stating earlier this week that Jews vote for Democrats “by habit” and that this group of voters “should be spoken to.”
