Democratic presidential candidate Marianne Williamson was unable to comment on how she would have responded to Russia taking out a U.S. drone.

While appearing on Hannity, Williamson was asked about Russia hitting and downing the Air Force's MQ-9 unmanned aircraft over the Black Sea in March. Fox News host Sean Hannity noted President Joe Biden and the U.S. military chose not to recover the drone and questioned Williamson on what she would do.

“Oh, Russians taking down one of our drones. Where? You mean one of our drones? What country are you talking about?” Williamson said.

“It would depend on where the drone was. You know, we take down drones. They take down drones. This is not the big picture,” she continued.

Hannity clarified that the drone was flying over international air space and suggested he assumed she was aware of the event.

“Well, you just said in international airspace. I don’t know the case specifically enough to be able to comment,” she said. “I didn’t know the story. Well, I would have to — the story of Russia’s taking down a U.S. spy — a U.S. drone in international waters. What would you want me to do, commit war against Russia because they took down a U.S. drone?”

Williamson said that the United States must consider its current dealings with Russia and “be careful with the language” used with China.

“We have to learn how to wage peace,” she said.

Williamson also dismissed concerns of China spying on the U.S. through TikTok, saying it is an important platform for reaching young people.

“This is where young people are getting their information, and I think that for us to deny that is kind of ridiculous,” Williamson said. “I think that whatever regulations we have on TikTok, whatever the government decides to do, I'd like to see them be just as strong in regulating American companies, as well.”
