Musician Maren Morris seemingly took another swipe at Jason Aldean in an Instagram post paraphrasing his lyrics.
Morris shared a short video clip online, which some are speculating comes from an upcoming music video, with a city sign that reads: "Welcome to Our Perfect SMALL TOWN From Sunrise to Sundown." This comes weeks after Aldean released his hit song "Try That in a Small Town." Aldean's song was criticized beyond its lyrics, including its music video, which included footage of the Black Lives Matter riots from 2020. The footage was later edited out.

"I’m done filling a cup with a hole in the bottom," Morris captioned her post.
Morris previously engaged in a Twitter feud with Brittany Aldean, Jason's wife, over transgender identity. When Aldean expressed her gratitude for being a biological woman and not transitioning into a trans man for her tomboy nature, Morris called her a "scumbag."
The singer was recently awarded GLAAD’s Excellence in Media award by former RuPaul's Drag Race contestants Cynthia Lee Fontaine and Alyssa Edwards. She was the first in her genre to win the award.
