North America’s four major sports leagues appear to have abandoned the heavy push for pride seen in past years, as the NBA, NFL, NHL, and MLB do not have pride-themed profile images displayed on social media.

In recent years, the organizations’ logos have been wrapped in rainbow coloring throughout June.

MLB’s logo featured a rainbow colorway on Saturday, but it was quickly replaced with images promoting Lou Gehrig Day and its London Series.

Profile images for the NBA and NHL showcase logos of the NBA Finals and Stanley Cup Final, respectively, and the NFL logo appears as the league’s traditional shield crest.

Along with the leagues, myriad individual teams have parted ways with the pride-themed logos of the past.

Individual pride-themed main-feed posts still appeared Saturday, but at least 11 NFL organizations made no references to pride, according to a report.

This departure from the apparent outright catering to the LGBT community comes in the wake of last year’s anti-woke push, catalyzed by transgender influencer Dylan Mulvaney’s partnership with Bud Light.
