The Washington Examiner obtained exclusive photos and testimonies from conservative students at Loyola Marymount University that expose the repeated hostility, intimidation, and guilt trips from their supposedly tolerant peers and professors in the wake of the horrendous murder of Charlie Kirk. Those entrusted to protect us must take action against this extensive culture of anti-conservative hate speech at college campuses.

For instance, a sociology professor at LMU asked a small class of around 10 students to write a word or phrase that described their reactions toward the killing. The answers of the students of the upper division sociology seminar were then projected by the professor to the entire class.
Among the common answers were words such as “indifferent” or “karma.” A small minority of the class wrote like “murder is unacceptable” or “no one deserves to get killed for what they have to say.”
Those students were subject to a humiliating and manipulative guilt trip, as the professor played an extensive compilation of out-of-context clips of Kirk’s words, and then proceeded to ask the students who condemned the murder if they “still felt sorry” for him.

Prior to her “experiment,” the completely politically unbiased professor, who has “Queer Lives Matter” as part of her credentials in her digital signature, sent an email giving the students a notice that Charlie Kirk would be discussed during the Whiteness and White Supremacy Unit of her Race and Ethnic Relations course for his “connection to the ethno-racial stratification and inequality.”

Other instances include flyers at the school that were obtained by the Washington Examiner, which show that students at LMU, influenced by the narratives of their radical professors, have also engaged in intimidation, hostility, and justification against the grieving students.
“What we’re experiencing right now is one of the largest minority rollbacks in history right now,” the flyer wrote. “All thanks to a President who is directly responsible for empowering.”
Simultaneously, a drawing of a rifle set on a campus speaker answering a question from a man in the audience, with the word “BANG” under it, was left on a library whiteboard for the incoming group of conservative students who had reserved the library space.

Just like the murder itself, the actions of the professor and students were calculated and deliberate, driven by a single purpose: to spread fear and impose a radical political agenda on others.
The atmosphere at LMU makes clear that the university has abandoned the very free speech principles it hides behind. Intimidation of peers and the defense of murder can never be acceptable, and they certainly do not reflect the values Americans once shared.
A professor who excuses violence has no business shaping young minds, especially the same age group now responsible for brutal attacks like the murder of Kirk or the assault on the Dallas ICE facility. Likewise, radicalized students should not be allowed to share a campus with those they openly despise — for obvious reasons of safety.
Universities are meant to be places where students find community, grow as individuals, and prepare for their futures — not environments where hostility reigns and peers feel threatened simply for thinking differently.
VIOLENCE AGAINST CAMPUS CONSERVATIVES HAS REACHED NEW HEIGHTS
This is unacceptable behavior and should be treated as such.
President Donald Trump and Congress should take immediate action against the university. Loyola Marymount University is just as guilty as any other college that witnessed the freeze of federal funds or was subject to investigation over a harmful climate towards a particular campus group.
