"The suspect is deceased. This is the only time that I will mention the suspect name in this case: Connor Sturgeon, white male, 23 years of age, who was employed at Old National Bank," Louisville Interim Chief Jacquelyn Gwinn-Villaroel said in a press briefing.

According to his Linkedin, Sturgeon had interned for three consecutive summers at the Old National Bank before taking a job full time in April 2022. He was listed as still working there when the shooting took place.
