


Police confirmed reports that there are multiple casualties in an "active aggressor" situation in Louisville, Kentucky.
"We are confirming reports of an active aggressor in the 300 block of East Main. Please stay out of the area. There are multiple casualties," the Louisville Metropolitan Police Department tweeted.

Several gunshots can be heard in videos taken near downtown Kentucky.

The FBI was on the scene as well, with special agents assisting police.

The shooting appears to have began in a building, according to WHAS 11 news.

Around 50 police cars are reported to be at the scene, according to WDRB News.
