The program is through the American Rescue Plan Act and offers Philadelphia Water Department customers up to $2,500 toward past-due water bills.
All interested residents must be experiencing a situation with their water service and have received a notice that their water service will be shut off within the next 60 days.
Pennsylvania residents must own or rent their home and meet a required household income limit as other eligibility factors.
Applicants will need to submit a recent water bill and the names, birth dates, and proof of income of all household members.
