Following one of the most embarrassing debate performances in modern American history, it was widely understood that President Joe Biden’s semi-unscripted press conference at this week’s NATO summit was the most important on-camera moment of his campaign, let alone his presidency.
Both the speech and the round of questions that followed went exactly as expected. Biden used the NATO summit to provide the world with a bizarre anti-Trump campaign rant, lauding the supposed support of European nations (as if that should motivate any American to vote for a presidential candidate).
He spewed gaffes that would have sunk a candidate in the past, including calling Vice President Kamala Harris “Vice President Trump,” admitting that he needs to “pace himself” while his wife is giving him “hell,” and flirting with World War III by hypothesizing about arming Ukraine with the ability to strike Moscow.
Then there were his lies. So many lies.
Lies about foreign policy, lies about his popularity in Israel, lies about the unpopularity of Hamas, lies about the economy, lies about Harris and her nonexistent qualifications, lies about gun control, lies about employment, lies about immigration, and lies about his bedtime.
But none of this is new. Not only has Biden been a shameless liar for his entire decadeslong career, but he has also been exhibiting clear signs of mental decline since the last election in 2020, with the crescendo being the landmark scandal that a Parkinson’s disease expert visited the White House eight times in eight months.
This report not only vindicates the valid concerns of so many, including yours truly, who have been warning of Biden’s obvious decline for years, but it also uncovers a brutal and dangerous truth: That the legacy media are indeed the enemy of the people.
During the press conference, with Biden calling on pre-selected journalists from pre-selected outlets, the legacy media completely ignored what is, without a doubt, the biggest scandal of Biden’s career.
Despite Biden’s history of plagiarism, his alleged use of his crack-addict son as a money laundering machine, and his decision to abandon his country and its allies to the whims of medieval barbarians in Afghanistan, nothing is worse than evidence that Biden is mentally unfit to be commander in chief of the nation that (at least, for now) leads the free world.
You’d think monthly visits from a Parkinson’s expert would spark interest in the media. Nope.
Reuters asked about Biden’s response to the pressure from the Democratic Party to resign. American Free Press asked about the effects of his decline on American standing. CBS asked about his legacy and how Harris is positioned to serve “on day one.” The Financial Times asked about his earlier bedtime. The Associated Press asked about support for Ukraine and whether Biden could reassure people that he’s up to the task.
Polskie Radio (yes, Polskie Radio) discussed Biden’s “high standing in Europe” and the threat of a Donald Trump presidency. The New York Times (the same outlet that broke the Parkinson’s story) asked about Biden’s strategy concerning China. NPR asked about Israel and Hamas and whether Biden still considered himself a “bridge” candidate. Bloomberg asked about internal support for his campaign and whether he’d consider taking further cognitive tests. Scripps asked about American weapons in Ukraine.
Not one conservative outlet was called upon, of course.
For years, we have been told that journalists are modern-day heroes, fighting on the front lines for democracy itself. But on Thursday night, they once again fell in line for the good of the party, refusing to address the biggest scandal in Biden’s political career.

It was like watching Tom Brady’s roast on Netflix, with every comedian happily adhering to the mandated “don’t talk about Robert Kraft’s massages” rule.
The media can pat themselves on the back all they want, even after spending years telling us that any concern over Biden’s mental fitness was partisan nonsense, conspiratorial craziness, or Russian disinformation. But, by ignoring a Parkinson’s expert’s monthly visits to the White House, they showed their only true purpose: To act as the Democratic Party’s ministry of propaganda.
