NextImg:Leftist media want Trump to be the nominee

Unless you have been living under a rock for the past two years, you would know that Democrats and their media allies desperately want former President Donald Trump to become the 2024 GOP nominee. For the few holdouts that refuse to believe this, the recent attacks on other GOP candidates should make it even more clear.

Former South Carolina Gov. Nikki Haley is the only other declared candidate for the nomination, and she immediately came under attack from the race hustlers in establishment media. The Atlantic’s Jemele Hill was one of many to claim falsely that Haley “changed” her name because of racism. “Nikki” is Haley’s middle name, and it is a Punjabi name.

NIKKI HALEY BEFUDDLES DEMOCRATS WHO DON'T KNOW HOW TO RUN AGAINST HER

But Haley doesn’t think America is a racist country, and so the race hustlers lashed out at her. On MSNBC, Wajahat Ali called her a white supremacist, and CNN’s Asha Rangappa also attacked Haley for going by her middle name, despite the fact that Asha (whose first name is Renuka) does the same. The panic over Haley’s candidacy reached a fever pitch when CNN’s Don Lemon asserted that Haley isn’t “in her prime” to become president because she isn’t of child-bearing age, asserting that he had “Googled it.”

Meanwhile, the attacks that establishment media usually reserved for Trump are now aimed squarely at Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis. Alyssa Farah Griffin, who worked for Trump, has become a token anti-conservative for The View and CNN. She has begun hyping up Trump’s candidacy, claiming that DeSantis is “overhyped” and that “he will implode once Trump keeps going after him and going after him.”

If you were given that quote without attribution, you would assume it was from a member of Trump’s campaign. Then again, knowing Griffin's work history, that guess wouldn't be far off.

CNN continued the attacks on DeSantis, trying to paint him as a faux conservative and boosting attacks on DeSantis by former Maryland Gov. Larry Hogan and New Hampshire Gov. Chris Sununu. The grifters at the Lincoln Project have also been hyping up Trump and focusing their ire on DeSantis.

Establishment media want Trump to crush DeSantis because DeSantis is a bigger threat in the 2024 election than Trump is. They want to destroy Haley because she defies every racism and sexism narrative that they promote on a daily basis. Establishment media also want President Joe Biden (or whatever Democrat is nominated in his stead) to win, and Trump offers them the best chance of it. Nominating Trump would even sacrifice the GOP’s easiest talking point, given that he is about the same age as Biden.

Establishment media will line up behind Trump and try to help him win the nomination because that is their best bet to defeat DeSantis and Haley, and it is their best bet to ensure that President Joe Biden is reelected. Establishment media are rooting for Trump to be the nominee. Republican voters should ask themselves why.
