Ella Emhoff, the stepdaughter of Vice President Kamala Harris, was recently raising money for the Palestinian Children’s Relief Fund on her personal Instagram by temporarily affixing the online fundraiser to her personal Instagram profile.

"He has been outspoken on combating antisemitism, and he’s turning his pain into action," Liza Acevedo, Emhoff’s communications director, said at the time when he took on the role of looking into antisemitism.
The second gentleman reportedly teared up when he added a mezuzah to the entryway of the vice president’s residence and has made public displays of his Jewish faith, including participating in a virtual Seder, lighting the menorah, and making matzah at a Washington, D.C., Jewish school. He wrote an op-ed about antisemitism and his faith.
"It’s an antisemitism crisis, to be clear, on our campuses and even in our K-12 schools, on our streets and our markets, wherever you go," Emhoff recently said in a London speech.
To add to the confusing familial messaging of the Emhoff-Harris home, the vice president herself announced an anti-Islamophobia strategy last week amid soaring antisemitism across the country on college campuses, on the streets of major cities, and in the halls of Congress.
