


Vice President Kamala Harris’s approval rating has hit a new low.
An NBC News poll conducted June 16-20 shows 49% of registered voters hold a negative opinion of Harris compared to only 32% sharing a positive view, making for a net approval rating of minus 17.

The new negative rating is reportedly the lowest score of any vice president in the poll’s history.
The poll, which was released on Sunday, also showed former President Donald Trump expanding his lead among GOP presidential candidates.
Among Republican voters, the poll showed Trump being voters’ first choice candidate, while 22% chose Gov. Ron DeSantis (R-FL) as their first choice. The remaining 2024 Republican candidates polled in the single digits.

Should Trump face President Joe Biden in the general election, voters favor Biden over Trump 49% to 45%, while voters indicated a tie between DeSantis and Biden at 47% should they become the two parties’ nominees.
The poll was conducted in partnership with Hart Research Associates, polling 1,000 registered voters with an overall margin of error of plus or minus 3.1 percentage points.
