CNN's Kaitlan Collins has not been the draw many at the cable network were likely expecting.

Her new show, The Source with Kaitlan Collins, only drew in 540,000 total viewers in the show's debut on Monday night, 83,000 of which came from the 25- to 54-year-old demographic. The numbers put her in last place for the 9 p.m. slot, according to data.

The ratings are also a 13% decrease in total viewers for the same day in 2022, and 44% down for viewers who are ages 25 to 54.

Other shows airing at 9 p.m. were able to bring in at least two million views, with MSNBC's The Rachel Maddow Show bringing in a total of 2.4 million viewers, with 231,000 from the 25 to 54 demographic. Similarly, Fox News was able to bring in two million with Hannity at 9 p.m. on Monday, with 188,000 from the 25 to 54 age group.

Collins's fellow CNN anchor, Anderson Cooper, did not fare much better, as Anderson Cooper 360 only brought in 600,000 viewers, compared to Fox News Tonight drawing in 1.7 million viewers and MSNBC’s All In with Chris Hayes bringing in 1.2 million viewers.

CNN announced in May that Collins would fill the vacant 9 p.m. slot that had been left empty since former anchor Chris Cuomo was terminated by the network in December 2021. Since his departure, the 9 p.m. slot has been hosted by several different CNN anchors, along with interviews and town halls.

Prior to hosting the 9 p.m. slot, Collins had been partnered with Poppy Harlow and Don Lemon, who has since left the network, to host a morning show on CNN. In May, Collins hosted a town hall with former President Donald Trump.
