NextImg:Jordan Peterson complains about Twitter following to Elon Musk

Former psychology professor Jordan Peterson took to Twitter on Thursday to complain to Elon Musk about his follower count.

Peterson posted a screenshot of his metrics for June, showing that it read he had no new followers. Musk was subsequently tagged in the post, as he is still the platform's CEO until his replacement, Linda Yaccarino, takes over sometime this month, but he will remain in charge of software development and core principles even afterward.

"Dear Elon Musk I cannot understand how this can possibly be," Peterson captioned the photo. "Am I missing something?"

The psychology professor-turned-influencer has over 4.3 million followers on the platform and, per Social Blade, has actually grown his followers by over 150,000 in the last 30 days. His tweet solicited a response from a Twitter representative.

"Dr. Jordan, please see banner: We're working on improvements to https://analytics.twitter.com. In the meantime, you may see some metrics are missing," Dan from the platform's analytics team responded online. "You can access your Tweet Analytics and download reports here. Thanks for your patience while we work on a new version of analytics!"

Peterson's Twitter account, once banned after a tweet about Elliot Page that was deemed hateful, was reactivated once Musk took over the platform.

Twitter is facing a lawsuit for allegedly not paying its employees their bonuses.
