 <br><span class="ArticlePage-articleBody-firstLetter">F</span>irst lady <a class="Link" href="https://www.washingtonexaminer.com/tag/jill-biden" target="_blank">Jill Biden</a>'s plane was diverted back to Denver, <a class="Link" href="https://www.washingtonexaminer.com/tag/colorado" target="_blank">Colorado</a> due an "aircraft issue" during her flight to <a class="Link" href="https://www.washingtonexaminer.com/tag/michigan" target="_blank">Michigan</a>. 

"Due to an aircraft issue en route Michigan, the First Lady was diverted back to Denver, Colorado. Her trip to Michigan will be postponed to a later date," Vanessa Valdivia, press secretary for the first lady, tweeted.

Valdivia confirmed in a follow-up tweet that "everyone is safe" and that the plane is safely on the ground in Denver.
