NextImg:Jasmine Crockett is an 'attention seeker': Joe Concha

Washington Examiner’s Joe Concha called Rep. Jasmine Crockett’s (D-TX) comments “performance art” in the Democratic Party in response to a recent report that she terrorizes her staff.

Congressional aides said Crockett, a fierce critic of President Donald Trump, was mean and “rude” to her staff, according to the New York Post.

The New York Post reports Crockett is barely around when TV cameras aren’t present and isn’t focused on her constituents.

“Crockett is the Miranda Priestly of Congress,” Concha said on Hannity Thursday night. “She is a classic case of an attention seeker who gets rewarded for saying the most provocative things possible.”

Concha added that networks such as MSNBC and CNN assume airing Crockett’s “insane” comments means more “clicks” and ratings.

“The more provocative you are, the more media attention that comes your way,” he said to host Sean Hannity.

Crockett took office in January 2023 and has since rocketed to fame over her viral comments about Republicans.

In March, she faced backlash for calling Gov. Greg Abbott (R-TX) “governor hot wheels” while speaking at a banquet in Los Angeles. Crocket responded to the backlash, saying she was referring to his “terrible policies” and calling the outrage “another distraction.”

“Finally, this is yet another distraction,” she wrote on X at the time. “Instead of obsessing over and hanging on to my every word, maybe my political foes should focus on doing the work of the people who elected us to improve their lives.”

Most recently, Crockett said Trump is “Temu Hitler.”

Concha said Crockett’s “performance art” is similar to that of Sen. Cory Booker (D-NJ) and Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY).

Earlier in the segment, the two discussed the possibility of the Howard Stern Show getting canceled. Concha said he used to be the “biggest” Stern fan because the host would “call out” everyone.

Concha said Stern had become the Rachel Maddow and Keith Olbermann of radio in politics, but can’t listen to him anymore.

“[Stern] is just a complete ass kisser to like everyone on the democratic side,” Concha said. “Where did this Howard go? I have no idea what happened to him.”
