House Oversight Committee Chairman James Comer (R-KY), who’s been investigating President Joe Biden's family's business dealings, said Republicans plan to eventually subpoena members of the Biden family.

“This is always going to end with the Bidens coming in front of the committee. We are going to subpoena the family,” Comer said on Fox Business Thursday.

“We know that this is going to end up in court when we subpoena the Bidens,” Comer continued.

Comer has long vowed to continue to investigate Hunter Biden, whose plea deal with the Justice Department fell apart — he intended to plead guilty to two tax crimes.

“Obviously, with all the opposition and obstruction we’re getting from the Biden attorneys now, we know that this is going to end up in court when we subpoena the Bidens,” Comer said. “So, we’re putting together a case and I think we’ve done that very well.”

Comer believes new evidence, including testimony from Hunter Biden’s former business partner, Devon Archer, directly implicated the president in his son’s foreign business calls. Comer said the committee plans on speaking to three or four more associates and bringing them in for transcribed interviews, like Archer did a little over a week ago.

His intent to subpoena comes one day after Comer released a third bank records memo, detailing $20 million in payments to Hunter Biden and partners from foreign entities during Biden’s vice presidency.

The White House has continually pushed back against efforts to involve the president in his son’s business relations on the board of Burisma, a Ukrainian energy company, claiming the GOP-led committee hasn't “uncovered any proof of involvement or wrongdoing by President Biden.

“House Republicans can’t prove President Biden did anything wrong, but they are proving every day they have no vision and no agenda to actually help the American people,” said Ian Sams, White House spokesperson, per NBC News. “For them, it’s all about partisan games and political attacks that serve themselves and get themselves attention on right-wing media — not about taking on the big challenges facing our country.”
