It turns out that journalistic malpractice can get you a fat book contract.
That’s right, if you refuse to report the news for years and malign anyone who suggests the truth is being withheld, you can then pretend to be the hero to anyone willing to pay $27 for the real story.

CNN’s Jake Tapper and Axios’s Alex Thompson just released a book detailing the extent of former President Joe Biden’s physical and cognitive decline. Tapper, who repeatedly attacked any conservative voicing concern over Biden’s condition, now stands to profit from the yearslong conspiracy to conceal the truth.
In 2020, Tapper admonished President Donald Trump’s daughter-in-law, Lara Trump, for saying she felt bad for Biden when he struggled onstage. Tapper said, “I think you were mocking his stutter, and I think you have absolutely no standing to diagnose somebody’s cognitive decline.” But he apparently believes he can diagnose and, in fact, profit from the former president’s cognitive decline.
Yes, the days of trusting the nightly news are gone. Today’s “journalists” create and twist the news to benefit their political party or pocketbook. The latest revelation about the Biden presidency proves that the media not only helped cover-up what may be the biggest scandal in American history, but also put the world in peril. Now, they are saying people hid it out of fear.
In a recent interview, Thompson admitted, “I’ll just add one last thing, which is that, you know, Democratic lawmakers were scared of the White House and retaliation for speaking out.”
He then admitted that many of those who are coming forward with the truth today were on record in posts and interviews supporting Biden’s reelection just days before Biden’s career-ending debate with Trump proved they were all lying.
It was during that same interview that Tapper confessed, “We all saw some of these moments in front of the camera that were disturbing, but what was going on behind the scenes, as we learned from these more than 200 interviews, was even more disturbing.” These two “journalists” waited until Biden left the White House to conduct more than 200 interviews and then quickly assembled a tell-all book.
The irony was not lost on funnyman Jon Stewart. Stewart mocked Tapper and CNN for teasing his book for weeks before its release, saying, “Don’t news people have to tell you what they know when they find it out? Isn’t that the difference between news and a secret?”
It was the worst-kept secret, but some people are still playing like they didn’t know. Whoopi Goldberg says being “stumbly and bumbly” is expected at his age. She whined on The View, “I want somebody to tell me when did you know it was bad. If you knew, why did you wait?”
Van Jones acted shocked during a recent interview, saying, “Anybody who cares about this country and just the dynamics of power, this is the emperor’s new clothes, playing itself out in real time. Everybody knew but everyone was afraid to say, except for David Axelrod, for two years that something was wrong here.” He says he was shocked on debate night to see his condition, and “so was the world.” I beg to differ.
We all knew, and we watched world leaders exchanging knowing glances at the G20 and G7 Summits. The world was definitely not shocked on debate night.
In 2023, Biden went to Ireland and told Irish leaders he wanted to go “lick the world”. Later that year, he announced Queen Latifah had been awarded a “Golden Globe and a prime-time Enemy”. He muttered enemy again under his breath, then sadly groaned, “that’s me” before correcting it to prime-time Emmy.
Just last year, Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni had to follow Biden and gently turn him back to the group of world leaders for a planned photo at the G7 Summit. Biden had wandered toward a group of skydivers in a childlike trance before the prime minister was able to take him by the arm. His spokeswoman went on MSNBC and told the public any concern over the behavior was just “dirty tactics MAGA Republicans are using” and then encouraged the media to call it out.
Just days before the G7, Biden gave a speech in Brazil, where he appeared to wander off into the Amazon after he finished speaking. A few weeks before the trip to Brazil, a video of Biden attending a Juneteenth celebration went viral after the president seemed frozen as guests around him danced to the music.
As the evidence of cognitive decline piled up, conservatives sharing videos were accused of lying. The White House press secretary teamed up with the media to create a new term for their cover-up, “cheap fake.” The video from the G7 was undeniable, but when asked, then-White House press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre looked at the media and said, “You all have called this the cheap fakes video and that’s exactly what they are, they are cheap fake video, they are done in bad faith and some of your news organizations have been very clear, have stressed that these right-wing critics of the president have a credibility problem.”
There was a clear deal between the White House and the media. Jean-Pierre was direct with her message when she said that “you all have called this cheap fakes video” and “your news organizations have been clear.” We were watching her tell them: we’re in this together, stick to the script.
The media understood the assignment and complied. This can’t be ignored and certainly not forgotten. After the cheap fakes narrative caught on, MSNBC’s Nicolle Wallace wasted no time in airing a segment accusing the “right-wing media” of taking highly misleading and deceptively edited videos of Biden and using them to call into question his fitness for office. It should be noted that Wallace has not been fired.
Brian Stelter gave CNN a full breakdown of what a cheap fake is and how important it was for the public to understand the danger of believing these videos, which really meant don’t believe your own eyes.
The real kicker is former White House press secretary Jen Psaki. She got out before she could be held accountable for the cover-up herself, but she still complied with the propaganda. She accused the New York Post of inaccurate, false reporting of Joe Biden stalling, pausing, and looking the other way, even though that is exactly what happened.
It was clear that the administration knew the president was in failing physical and cognitive health. And we know the media were a willing participant because we saw that Los Angeles Times reporter Courtney Subramanian’s question was typed out on a notecard for Biden before she asked it during an April 26, 2023, press conference.
They all got away with it because the leftist media spent years demonizing Republicans and grooming them to hate Trump. Their audience had been perfectly primed. Their hatred was strong enough to look past what they saw with their own eyes. Until the debate blew their cover. The decline was undeniable.
But as the house of cards crumbled, the media, political consultants, and elected officials all scrambled to get ahead of the impending disaster. In Tapper and Thompson’s case, they saw a payday.
THE 25TH AMENDMENT WAS SUPPOSED TO PREVENT WHAT JUST HAPPENED
They wanted to get in front of things and be the first to “expose” the truth. Break down the conspiracy that they helped to build. They might as well have strangled the country with their own hands, and now they are offering CPR.
Don’t buy the hype. None of them should be lining their pockets in exchange for the truth. Like Jon Stewart said, isn’t this the difference between news and a secret? I would go a step further and call it a lie. These people should not be cashing in on their deceit, but instead lose their jobs and leave their profession in shame.
