Just as Hamas announced it would soon begin executing hostages live on social media, President Joe Biden's White House announced it was done working for the day, all before noon.

Biden's failure to address the war in Israel on Monday comes after Biden hosted a party at the White House on Sunday, just after it was confirmed that Hamas had killed four Americans in Israel. Biden has made no comment on the murder of those four Americans.

ISRAEL ORDERS 'TOTAL SIEGE' OF GAZA IN AFTERMATH OF UNPRECEDENTED TERROR ATTACK BY HAMAS

Biden is not the president of Israel, and he does not control how it responds to Hamas. But he could come before the public and answer questions about why he gave Palestinians money when his State Department warned some of that money would go to Hamas. He could explain why he thought giving Iran, a longtime supporter of Hamas, $6 billion wouldn't give a green light for more violence in the region.

These questions are hard. It is understandable why Biden wants to avoid them.

But there are other things Biden could do to show he is a leader of a nation that supports Israel. He could visit a synagogue and pray with the Israeli community. He could go to the Israeli Embassy and offer staff his support.

Instead of doing any of these things, Biden tweeted three times on Monday about a Labor Department report that came out on Friday. Nothing about Israel.

This is an abdication of leadership. America deserves better.
