The Israeli government released a handwritten note allegedly found on the body of a Hamas terrorist encouraging the terrorist to behead victims.
Israel Defense Forces spokesman Brig. Gen. Daniel Hagari was shown the note, which was written in Arabic, during an interview with CBS News and read it.

“The enemy is a disease that has no cure,” Hagari revealed about what was written on the note during the interview.

When asked if Hagari had a message for Hamas, he replied: “The Oct. 7 massacre is something that I haven’t seen through my life. This is a war. We have to fight. There is only one goal: Defeat Hamas. Kill the leaders of terror and bring our people home.”
Subsequently, the IDF released a fuller translation of the note, obtained by the Washington Examiner, which read: “Know that this enemy of yours is a disease that has no cure, other than beheading and extracting the hearts and livers!"
The emergence of the note comes after Israel showed members of the foreign press on Monday 43 minutes of footage from the Oct. 7 Hamas terrorist attacks as part of an attempt to combat the "Holocaust denial-like phenomenon evolving in real time."
The videos shown to roughly 200 reporters included one of a woman trying to establish whether a partially burned woman's corpse whose dress was pulled up to her waist and without underpants was that of a relative, among other distressing scenes, according to the Times of Israel.

Last week, the Zaka organization, which operates as a rescue and recovery organization for civilians on the front lines, revealed it found victims who had clearly been shot in the back, civilians burned alive, children with their hands tied behind their backs, and, in one case, an unborn baby who had been ripped from its mother's stomach.
More than 1,400 Israelis were killed when Hamas launched its terrorist attack on Oct. 7. More than 200 people remain hostage in Gaza, although four have been released in the past few days.
