As President Donald Trump began his Inauguration Day, the stunning inaugural fashion was on full display, starting at St. John’s Episcopal Church’s prayer service and at the Capitol Rotunda in Washington, D.C., on Monday morning.

First lady Melania Trump was seen wearing a silk wool dark navy Adam Lippes coat, ivory silk crepe blouse, a dark navy hat with a white stripe by designer Eric Javits, dark navy heels, and black gloves. Lippes has been a frequent designer of Trump’s various fashions over the years. The first lady had previously worn a powder blue Ralph Lauren cashmere dress during the 2017 inauguration.

“Look at Melania Trump. The most elegant, stylish, beautiful First Lady ever,” Megyn Kelly posted on X. “Will Vogue put her on the cover as they did Jill Biden & M Obama? Of course not, because Anna Wintour hates Republicans so much she cannot stomach the thought of celebrating this perfect picture of class.”

She was later seen wearing the navy blue outfit as she entered the Capitol Rotunda for the inaugural ceremonies.

The first daughter, Ivanka Trump, caught the attention of cameras Monday morning by wearing a dark peacock green outfit with a V-neckline, an asymmetrical hem with black leather gloves, black sheer tights, and black stilettos as she arrived at the prayer service. Her hair was elegantly in an updo with her green hat. On Sunday, Trump fans gushed over her striking Oscar de la Renta’s dress at an inaugural event.

Vice President J.D. Vance‘s wife Usha grabbed attention with her bubblegum pink outift as she was seen greeting Vice President Kamala Harris and her husband Douglas Emhoff at the White House prior to the inaugural ceremony.

“Channeling Audrey Hepburn and Grace Kelley. Just lovely,” social media gushed about the second lady.

Another X user declared the color for Vance’s wife by saying, “Starting today, we have a new color. Usha Pink!”

The second lady stunned social media over the weekend as they gushed over her black velvet gown made by Oscar de la Renta at the Vice Presidential Dinner at the National Gallery on Sunday.

Trump’s granddaughter, Kai Trump, arrived in elegant style at the Capitol, where she wore a long, heart-shaped gold necklace, a gray turtleneck sweater dress, and a black jacket.

The 17-year-old influencer and golfer rose to fame after sharing a powerful endorsement of her grandfather at the 2024 Republican National Convention while wearing an all-white sleeveless dress and gold high heels. Her father and the president’s eldest son had to warn teenage boys who were fawning over his daughter after the convention to “stay away.”

Despite the special occasion and the blistering cold weather, Sen. John Fetterman (D-PA) was unwavering in wearing his daily attire of gym shorts and a hoodie for Trump’s inauguration.

“Never change, Fetterman,” social media users snarked on X.

“I’m pretty much wearing the same thing Fetterman is wearing, except I’m on my couch,” another person remarked.
