In-N-Out president and CEO Lynsi Snyder revealed she is moving her family from California to Franklin, Tennessee, as the company is setting up new headquarters in the Volunteer State.
The fast food conglomerate was previously headquartered in Irvine, California, and is in the process of moving its West Coast office to Baldwin Park, California. Snyder announced on Blaze News’s Relatable podcast that she would be moving her family to Tennessee as the company opens its East Coast office and slowly transitions east.

There’s a lot of great things about California, but raising a family is not easy here. Doing business is not easy here now,” Snyder explained.
“The bulk of our stores are still going to be here in California, but it will be wonderful having an office out there [in Franklin],” Snyder added.
An In-N-Out meat distribution center in Texas is expected to bring future expansion of the chain into Tennessee, which currently does not have any In-N-Out locations. Texas, meanwhile, has boasted a handful of locations since 2011.
“Florida has begged us, and we’re still saying no,” Snyder said to locations further east. “East Coast states, we’re still saying no. We’re able to reach Tennessee from our Texas warehouse.”
In-N-Out contributed to the passage of California’s Proposition 36 last year, which increased penalties for shoplifting and drug crimes. The committee behind the measure received $500,000 from In-N-Out.
IN-N-OUT IS TRYING TO SAVE CALIFORNIA
This contribution came after In-N-Out closed its Oakland location due to crime. At the time of its closure, the company claimed the location was still profitable.
As California has raised the minimum wage, In-N-Out has raised its prices in the state to keep up.
