Lawyers representing President Joe Biden's son, Hunter Biden, sent a letter to the House Ethics Committee on Monday, requesting action be taken against Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA) for her comments and posts about the president's son.
The letter alleges that Hunter Biden has been the victim of "continuous verbal attacks, defamatory statements, publication of personal photos and data, and promotion of conspiracy theories" from Greene, per Politico.
HUNTER BIDEN INVESTIGATION: COONS STANDS BY GARLAND FOLLOWING WHISTLEBLOWER CLAIMS
"As outlined below, her public statements and related efforts on Twitter, Truth Social, Facebook, and during public appearances attacking Mr. Biden sound and read like school-yard insults rather than the work of a Member of Congress, and they fail to uphold the integrity and dignity expected of members of the House of Representatives," the letter said.
The letter references tweets from Greene in which she alleged that Hunter Biden is participating in human trafficking and the solicitation of prostitutes.
"Not only are these statements false, defamatory, and malicious, but they are undignified from a Member of Congress and far beyond anything close to genuine legislative activities or political advocacy," the letter said.
The letter brings up a claim Greene made on CBS's 60 Minutes earlier this month, when she alleged the Democratic Party and Joe Biden support pedophilia.
"Democrats support — even Joe Biden, the president himself, supports children being sexualized and having transgender surgeries. Sexualizing children is what pedophiles do to children," Greene said on 60 Minutes.
"How can there be a serious question that such comments do not reflect creditably upon the House of Representatives and its Democratic members," the letter said on Greene's comment regarding the Democratic Party and pedophilia.
The letter also discussed a photo Greene posted that features Hunter Biden and his niece and her cousin in a convertible with the caption, "Hunter was on crack wheeling & dealing with CCP ties and prostitutes with classified documents laying around in the garage."
In discussing what punishment Biden's lawyers believe should be levied against Greene for the alleged ethics violations, they assert there is "strong precedent" to take action against the Georgia congresswoman.

"Perhaps Representative Greene is beyond conducting herself properly. Many have so concluded. However, the House has a duty to make loud and clear that it does not endorse, condone, or agree with her outrageous, undignified rhetoric and brazen violations of the standards of official conduct that do not reflect creditably on the House of Representatives," the letter finished.
The firebrand congresswoman has been a fierce critic of the Biden family, regularly attacking Joe and Hunter Biden, alleging crimes committed by them and the rest of the family. She has also been loose in throwing accusations during her work as a congresswoman, alleging Rep. Eric Swalwell (D-CA) had a sexual affair with a Chinese spy during a hearing last week.
