Rep. Nancy Mace (R-SC) questioned President Joe Biden ahead of the House Oversight Committee receiving testimony from Devon Archer as part of the investigation into Hunter Biden's business deals and alleged improper use of connections.
“Now, look, Devin Archer is Hunter Biden's BFF,” Mace said on Fox News on Tuesday. “He knows where all the bodies are buried, and I believe that his testimony will be compelling enough to show that Joe Biden was in the room during much of these discussions during much of these deals.”
HOW BAD WOULD A UPS STRIKE BE FOR THE ECONOMY?
“And my question for Joe Biden today is if you did nothing wrong, why lie about it?” Mace said on Fox News on Tuesday.

Hunter Biden's role at the Ukrainian energy company Burisma from 2013 to 2018 has been scrutinized heavily by Republicans who are pushing to gather more information about the president's alleged involvement. Members of the House Oversight Committee hope Archer, who was a fellow Burisma board member, will prove Biden was involved in business calls.
Mykola Zlochevsky, the head of Burisma, has denied ever having contact with then-Vice President Biden when Hunter Biden sat on the board. Biden has dismissed allegations that he assisted his son with the business dealings.
Archer, who is a close associate and partner of Hunter Biden, will testify before the House Oversight Committee, as confirmed by the Washington Examiner on Monday.
After multiple delays, Mace said Archer could testify as early as next Monday.
He was subpoenaed on June 12 by the House Oversight Committee and has since canceled his deposition a total of three times. Oversight Committee Chairman James Comer (R-KY) told Archer’s lawyers in a June letter that his testimony is important to the investigation. “Mr. Archer was Hunter Biden’s business partner in a number of transactions involving foreign nationals and foreign companies.”
Archer was convicted of securities fraud in 2018 after defrauding a Native American tribe and sentenced to prison in 2022, but he has yet to serve any time.

Mace pushed that Archer’s testimony will help prove Biden's involvement in his son Hunter Biden's business deals, and she urged all the evidence discovered in the investigation into his relationship with Ukrainian energy company Burisma to be presented to the public.
“And we've got to get to the bottom of this, we got to get to the truth, and we have to show the American people as much evidence as possible, whether that's witnesses, documents, tapes, recordings, etc., so that they'll believe our investigation and what we've uncovered so far,” Mace said.
