Border czar Tom Homan made it clear that the U.S. Air Force will continue to aid in the deportation of illegal immigrants through President Donald Trump’s term.

The Defense Department stepped in this week to aid in Trump’s mass deportation plan. Illegal immigrants have already boarded C-17s and C-130s, a tactic that has not been implemented by a sitting U.S. president before. Homan appeared on ABC News’s This Week to give further detail to anchor Martha Raddatz.

“I want to go back to those military flights going south. As you’ve said, we’ve never seen that before. Is that going to be a constant commitment from the U.S. Military every single day to take deportees out?” Raddatz asked.

“Yes,” Homan said simply.

“So is this what we will see every single day? Ending in what the president has promised is millions and millions being deported?” Raddatz pushed.

“Yes. But you’re going to see that number steadily increase,” Homan said.

Next, Raddatz asked about the estimated 1.3 million illegal immigrants who already have outstanding deportation orders. While this group has been Trump’s priority, the news anchor asked if more deportation orders are to follow.

“If you’re in the country illegally, you’re on the table. Because it’s not OK to violate the laws of this country,” Homan said. “It’s a crime. So if you’re in the country illegally, you got a problem, and that’s why I’m hoping that those that are in this country illegally that have not been ordered removed by the federal judge should leave.”

The U.S. Air Force posted photos of some planes and the illegal immigrants boarding them to their Instagram account Friday. In a caption, the military branch wrote it is assisting “the U.S. Northern Command mission to carry out President Trump’s Executive Orders on protecting the territorial integrity of the United States.” This post subsequently went viral with thousands of comments.

During the first two days of Trump entering the Oval Office, Homan reported there were 766 total apprehensions on the southwest border. This was a stark difference from the upwards of 10,000 a day that were found at the border under former President Joe Biden.
