Former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton shared how Democratic wins across the nation in Tuesday’s elections show people are "moving away from the drama" ahead of the 2024 presidential election.

“People are kind of moving away from the drama, from, you know, all of the chaos. They want to just have regular order again,” Clinton told Bloomberg during a company forum in Singapore.

Clinton said the success of key Democratic victories provides insight into what voters are looking for in the 2024 presidential race. She cited Issue 1 in Ohio, a ballot measure to change the state’s constitution to enshrine abortion access, as well as Gov. Andy Beshear's (D-KY) reelection win in the Republican stronghold of Kentucky.

“I'm not a fan of polling a year out from an election,” Clinton added when asked about President Joe Biden’s low polling numbers among key voting groups.

On election night, CNN released another devastating poll for Biden, showing former President Donald Trump leading the president among registered voters, 49% to 45%, respectively. By a slim margin, Biden is losing voters under 35 — 48% support Trump, and 47% support Biden.

Clinton added that there’s a tendency among Democratic voters in the U.S. to be continuously looking for “the next cool thing” and “the really exciting candidate that we're going to have.”

“There's a lot of the churn about what we really are going to look for and end up with. But I believe Joe Biden will be the nominee. I believe he will be reelected,” Clinton said.

Clinton praised Biden’s record and merits while also noting the importance of his Democratic nomination, given that Trump will likely be the alternative.

The 2016 Democratic presidential candidate said she expects a rematch between Biden and Trump next year, and she is confident Biden will prevail.

“Vote Democrats and dare to be dull,” John Micklethwait, Bloomberg editor-in-chief, said.

“Just get out there and show your dullness but get the job done, be productive and dull,” Clinton replied.
