Of the 10 youngest billionaires in 2023, only four are under 40, with just one of those four having a net worth of over $100 billion. Some managed to earn their wealth through technology, while others opted to get rich through the world of business, according to Forbes.

Lukas Walton, 37, with a net worth of $24.2 billion
Walton earned his fortune investing through the Builders Vision company, and he serves as the chairman of the environment program committee of his family's Walton Family Foundation. His financial start began when he inherited money from his father, John Walton, the son of the co-founder of Walmart.
Josh Kushner, 38, with a net worth of $3.6 billion
Kushner, the brother of Jared Kushner and brother-in-law of Ivanka Trump, has made money through his investment firm Thrive Capital, which he founded when he was 25. His investment has earned him money from various investors, including Disney CEO Bob Iger.
His father, Charles Kushner, had pleaded guilty to tax evasion, illegal campaign contributions, and witness tampering charges in 2004 but was later pardoned by then-President Donald Trump in 2020.
Dustin Moskovitz, 39, with a net worth of $12.2 billion
Moskovitz, the co-founder of Facebook, saw his net worth go up by over $4 billion this year thanks to the stock price of Meta, Facebook's parent company, going up by 86%. While he remains a stockholder for Meta, he has since left Facebook and co-founded Asana, a software company that has various clients such as NASA, Google, and AT&T.
Mark Zuckerberg, 39, with a net worth of $106 billion
The CEO of Meta and co-founder of Facebook spent 2023 launching a new social media platform called Threads, an alternative to Twitter, which has been rebranded to "X." Zuckerberg is the only billionaire younger than 40 to have a net worth of over $100 billion.
Amid the launching of Threads, Zuckerberg has played up the possibility of a one-on-one combat match between him and X owner Elon Musk, though he implied in August that such a match is unlikely to happen.
Nathan Blecharczyk, 40, with a net worth of $9.5 billion
Blecharczyk co-founded the vacationing homestay business Airbnb with Brian Chesky and Joe Gebbia, with all three becoming rich through their highly successful business. In launching Airbnb, he coded the business's first website and served as Airbnb's chief technology officer, becoming known as "head of all things technical."
Brian Armstrong, 40, with a net worth of $3.7 billion
Armstrong earned his wealth through co-founding the Coinbase cryptocurrency exchange in 2012, which he took public in 2021. He also served as a software engineer for Airbnb.
Scott Duncan, 40, with a net worth of $7.4 billion
Duncan's father was the Texas oil businessman Dan Duncan, who died in 2010. Becoming a billionaire at the age of 27, Duncan, along with his two sisters, have inherited stakes in Enterprise Products Partners, an energy and pipeline company in Houston, Texas.
Lynsi Snyder, 41, with a net worth of $6.7 billion
Snyder's wealth has come through the West Coast-based fast-food joint In-N-Out Burger, which she has served as president of since 2010. Her grandparents founded the burger chain in 1948, with her receiving stakes in the business over time.

Biswas made a name for himself when he was hired by software firm Oracle as an engineer at 15. Since then, he co-founded Samsara in 2015, a company that sells a variety of sensor systems, such as real-time coaching for drivers and dash cameras using artificial intelligence.

Brian Chesky, 42, with a net worth of $10 billion
Chesky, along with Blecharczyk and Gebbia, co-founded Airbnb in 2007, which has since grown into a massive success across the globe, with Chesky serving as the company's CEO. Airbnb's shares went up by 28% since 2022, which made Chesky and Gebbia $1 billion richer and Blecharczyk $2 billion richer.
