Google reinstated the PragerU app in its Play store within hours of suspending it.

Google contacted PragerU to inform its developers that the app underwent a review that found “content or speech asserting that a protected group is inhuman, inferior or worthy of being hated.” As a result, the app was suspended from Google Play on Friday but was swiftly reinstated.

“In an email from Google, they said our recently removed app is now available ‘after further re-review,'” PragerU wrote on X. “Thank you to all of our amazing supporters who helped publicize this issue to force Google to reverse their earlier decision to remove our app from the store entirely.”

A Google spokesperson confirmed to the Washington Examiner that the initial suspension was made in error and fixed once it was rechecked.

Founder Dennis Prager has previously butted heads with the tech giant, suing Google in 2017 for allegedly prioritizing left-leaning videos over those of PragerU. However, two courts ultimately ruled against Prager and in Google’s favor.

The PragerU app remains on the Apple app store and has a 4.7/5 rating. It falls underneath the “Education” category and features content for children as young as 4.
