Washington, D.C.
The average price for a gallon of regular-grade gas in Washington, D.C., on Tuesday is $3.904, beneath Monday's price of $3.916. The price one week ago was $3.917.
California
The average price for a gallon of regular-grade gas in California remains startlingly high at $5.840 on Tuesday, above Monday's price of $5.828. Last week, the price was $5.760.
New York
In New York, the average price is $3.913, just below Monday's $3.915 price. Last week, the average price was $3.925.
