Washington, D.C.
The average price for a gallon of regular-grade gas in Washington, D.C., is down on Thursday at $3.909. Wednesday's price was $3.920. Last week, it was $3.917.
California
The average price for a gallon of regular-grade gas in California remains startlingly high at $5.792 on Thursday, one tick below Wednesday's price of $5.793. Last week, the price was significantly lower at $5.505.
New York
In New York, the average price is $3.926, just below Wednesday's price of $3.927. Last week, the average price was $3.908.
