The average price for a gallon of regular-grade gas in Maryland is $3.488, lower than the national average. The price was $3.497 the day before, and one week ago, the price was $3.494.
Virginia
The average price for a gallon of regular-grade gas in Virginia is $3.330, solidly below the national average. Thursday, the price was $3.337, and last week at this time, the price was $3.338.
Washington, D.C.
The average price for a gallon of regular-grade gas in Washington, D.C., is $3.653, higher than the national average. The price the day before was $3.649, and a week ago, it was $3.650.
California
The average price for a gallon of regular-grade gas in California is well above the national average at $4.871. The day before, it was $4.875, and one week ago, it was $4.826.
New York
In New York, the current average is $3.705, compared with $3.709 the day before and $3.699 this time last week.
