The average price for a gallon of regular-grade gas in Maryland is $3.713, below Monday's price of $3.732. One week ago, the price was $3.809.
Virginia
The average price for a gallon of regular-grade gas in Virginia has dropped to $3.619, below Monday's $3.626 price. Last week, the price was $3.662.
Washington, D.C.
The average price for a gallon of regular-grade gas in Washington, D.C., is down Tuesday at $3.979. Monday's price was $3.981, and last week, it was $4.042.
California
The average price for a gallon of regular-grade gas in California remains startlingly high at $5.290 Tuesday, 3 cents up from Monday. Last week, the price was $5.260.
New York
In New York, the average price is $3.906, 5 cents up from Monday. Last week, it was $3.918.
