Jurors have found four members of the far-right Proud Boys guilty of seditious conspiracy, ongoing since December. The trial involves leader Enrique Tarrio and four members who were charged with seditious conspiracy and other felony counts for their involvement in the Jan. 6, 2021 U.S. Capitol riot.

Ethan Nordean, Joseph Biggs, Zachary Rehl, Enrique Tarrio and Dominic Pezzola were all found guilty on counts of destruction of government property, civil disorder, obstruction of an official proceeding, and conspiracy to prevent an officer from discharging duties.

A verdict was not reached for Pezzola on counts of conspiracy to obstruct official proceeding and seditious conspiracy.

Thursday marks the seventh day of deliberations of the high-profile case with U.S. District Judge Timothy J. Kelly presiding.

Among the five defendants, Zachary Rehl and Dominic Pezzola have been the only two to testify.

Assistant U.S. Attorney Conor Mulroe argued that the Proud Boys “saw themselves as Donald Trump’s army, fighting to keep their leader in power no matter what the law or the courts had to say about it,” in the prosecution's closing remarks on April 24.
