Pam Hemphill, a onetime Trump supporter who served a two-month sentence in federal prison for her involvement in the Jan. 6 riot, told CNN's Gary Tuchman last week that the former president is a "master manipulator" and "king of the gaslighting."
The 70-year-old from Idaho was seen on video encouraging people to enter the Capitol.

She is heard shouting to bystanders nearby, "Whose house does it belong to? It's my house! Come on in. Just come in!”
Hemphill was arrested on Aug. 3, 2021, and pleaded guilty to a single count of unlawful parading, demonstrating, or picketing during the riot. She told CNN that she "absolutely" was "guilty" of what she had done.
The grandmother received several physical injuries on Jan. 6, including being pushed down, trampled on, and her shoulder was "pulled out."
"The Capitol Police saved my life that day," she said.
During the CNN interview, she was brought to tears talking about how "sorry" she was for being involved in the riot.
She turned on the former president when she heard he wanted to pardon Jan. 6 prisoners and called him a "master manipulator."
"It's a cult," she said to CNN. "And there's people like me waking up."
Hemphill believes former President Donald Trump is "absolutely" responsible for what happened on that day.
The former Trump supporter grew angry when she recently saw the 2024 Republican presidential candidate share a social media post on Truth Social that read, “AMERICAN JUSTICE: 69-year-old Grandma with Cancer given more prison time for walking inside US Capitol than Hunter Biden for sharing classified documents with foreign regimes and multi-million dollar bribery schemes.”
