Beneficiaries who receive assistance paying for food in the state of Wisconsin via the state's FoodShare program, a type of food stamps, will see their benefits within the next six days.
The state's version of the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program sends monthly payments to recipients from the second through the 15th of each month. Distribution for this month is set to be completed by Aug. 15. The day someone gets the benefits depends on the eighth digit of their Social Security number.

FoodShare benefits may not be used for alcohol, tobacco, vitamins, medicine, live animals, hot foods, "food to be eaten in the store," or other nonfood items.
