


Three states will finish issuing benefit payments from the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program for the month of July in two days.
Eligible low-income households who obtain SNAP benefits living in the following states should receive their payments by July 13. While some states issue their SNAP payments throughout the month, these three states will wrap up their payment schedule earlier.

Here are three states that will finish sending out their direct payments by July 13.
The amount beneficiaries will receive from SNAP depends on household size, income factors, and other eligibility requirements. SNAP benefit recipients will see the amount transferred to a prepaid electronic benefit transfer card (EBT), which can be used at grocery stores like a debit card to purchase eligible products.

The SNAP program runs from Oct. 1 to Sept. 30 and figures are adjusted each year, with recipients' household income typically at or below 130% of the poverty line, which is the gross income limit.
While the amounts vary in each state, the average payment for a single person in 2023 is estimated at $182 per month, according to the Center on Budget and Policy Priorities.
