A fire erupted during the early morning hours at a house in Massachusetts owned by the son of Sen. Elizabeth Warren (D-MA).
No one was injured as the home was under construction and vacant when first responders arrived on the scene around 1:30 a.m. to douse the flames, officials told WBZ-TV.

“I deeply appreciate the efforts of the firefighters who worked through the night to put out a fire at our son’s house. I am grateful that everyone is safe and request privacy for our family," the senator said.
The cause of the fire is unclear. Alexander Warren purchased the home for $1.35 million back in 2021, Boston News 25 reported.
A neighbor reportedly witnessed the blaze and called 911. The house was located in Medford, Massachusetts, in a hilly part of the city, complicating efforts to subdue the fire.
Footage of the incident showed firefighters scrambling to contain the inferno. Black smoke could be seen miles away from the home. It took first responders roughly five hours to put out the flames, per Boston News 25.
