The Trump administration has begun flying out and deporting illegal immigrants from the state-run immigrant detention site in the Florida Everglades, known as “Alligator Alcatraz,” according to Gov. Ron DeSantis (R-FL).
“I’m pleased to report that those flights out of Alligator Alcatraz by [the Department of Homeland Security] have begun. The cadence is increasing. We’ve already had a number of flights in the last few days. We’ve had hundreds of illegals … removed from here,” DeSantis said during a press conference at Alligator Alcatraz on Friday morning.
